01 Inspiration

Joey Kolchinsky
Founder · CEO, OneVision
I started the Symposium because my best conversations in this industry never happened on a show floor. They happened over dinner, with a few people at a time.
My wife, Jennifer, turned that idea into the weekend it is today. She plans every detail, from where we stay to how we spend our time, and together we host it the way we’d have friends stay at our home.
We intentionally keep it small. Each Symposium brings together 15-20 leaders, most with a spouse or partner, for a long weekend somewhere beautiful. We’re careful about who we invite. The people around the table are thoughtful, generous with what they know, and happy to leave their titles at the door. Spouses and partners come too, because conversations and friendships form more naturally that way. And during Friday’s roundtable discussion, Jennifer hosts them personally for a fun day out.
In the weeks before the roundtable, I connect with each attendee about what’s on their mind, and from those calls I put together a short list of questions. Those questions open the conversation, covering the issues people are actually wrestling with, from new threats to opportunities no one has figured out yet. The group takes each one apart from every angle, building on one another’s ideas and challenging them where it counts. By dinner, the room is buzzing, and the energy carries through the rest of the weekend.
Outside the roundtable, we eat well, get out into the local culture, and close with a send-off party to remember.
One participation fee covers lodging, meals and activities for you and your spouse or partner. All you book is your flight. And if circumstances mean you come on your own, you’ll be every bit as much a part of the weekend.
If this sounds like your kind of weekend, I’d love to hear from you.

02 Agenda
Arrive by 5p. Get settled. A light welcome reception.
A full day at the table for executives, a day out with Jennifer for partners. Dinner together that evening.
One more roundtable session over coffee, then a loosely planned afternoon exploring the area. We'll keep you in suspense about the evening - it'll be a fun night!
Breakfast and departure at your pace.
03 Partners / Spouses
Partners are never just plus-ones. Jennifer builds their day around wherever we are, with time alongside local artisans, a taste of the region's best cooking, and a few spots you'd only find with someone who scouted them first.

05 The Guest List
The connections made here have a way of becoming partnerships, deals, and joint projects. That takes people who can say yes, remove what is in the way, and follow through. Over the years, change-makers from these companies have attended the event.
